Card DesignsWe’ve created many credit card and debit card designs for clients in the financial industry, including these for Burbank City Federal Credit Union. We can update existing designs or start from scratch. We carried over the circles in the Burbank tree logo for an identifying touch. We stay aware of the “in” colors are and will offer multiple comps for a client to choose from. Cards can be designed to fit within a specific demographic, like an ATM card aimed at older teens.
Newsletter CampaignWe have helped multiple clients with their newsletters. We work on both printed and email versions and in some cases supply both. How much we do is up to the client, but we can start from scratch; develop a name for your newsletter, suggest stories, do research, write headlines, write copy, and bring it all together in a compelling design.
Spin to Win PromoOne of the best ways to create some “buzz” about your brand and motivate customers to do more is with a sweepstakes, contest or game. We have developed many of these for a variety of clients including Burbank. The “Spin-to-Win” involved a Wheel of Fortune type prize wheel that members could spin to see what they’ve won. Members could get a chance to spin the wheel by doing simple things, like opening an eChecking account, adding eStatements or funding any kind of loan. Prizes included things like credit card bonus points and gift cards. We created posters, flyers and inserts for the promotion as well as featuring it in the Burbank newsletter.
Visa PromoWe have created many MasterCard and Visa credit card promotions. Typically these involve a pre-approved card offer, or offer to apply. We highlight the extra features that research shows are compelling to consumers; cash back, low interest rates, and no balance transfer fees being among the best. Direct mail usually generates the best results, but in most cases we’ll do a support campaign around that piece with emails, posters, teller-fascia, and inserts. We do the design, the copywriting, and manage printing.

Our main goal when creating a direct mail campaign is to have a compelling message on the cover; regardless of what is being offered getting them to open it is job one. The most effective pieces generally include a Pre-Approval of some kind and we can customize those to each individual using variable data. Using a person’s first name on a piece can drastically improve results. We are also proponents of sweetening the offer with a sweepstakes or premium. Your target is likely to be getting similar offers from other companies; yours needs to stand out. We handle every aspect of direct mail, developing concepts, writing copy, and managing the printing. In many cases, other marketing material helps to bolster the original piece. We often translate a direct mail design into email, print, billboards and other marketing material.
